As the retail shopping mall embarks on a journey of revitalisation, Bean Buro presents an innovative design proposal that seeks to elevate the shopping experience by seamlessly blending nature’s beauty with modern architectural aesthetics. Inspired by the delicate harmony and elegance of nature’s petals, our design for the circulation bridges, overhead and ground level walkways aims to create a captivating symbiosis between the mall’s visitors and their surroundings.

At the heart of our design lies the concept of fluidity and organic elegance. Drawing inspiration from nature’s petals, our team has meticulously crafted a series of circulation bridges, overhead passages, and ground level walkways that emulate the grace and lightness reminiscent of a blossoming flower. The interweaving pathways create a sense of flow, guiding visitors through the mall while providing an immersive experience.
To embody the essence of nature’s floral beauty, a combination of organic and contemporary materials will be utilised. The main structure of the circulation bridges and overhead passages will feature lightweight metal frames seamlessly clad in a translucent polycarbonate material. This choice allows dappled light to filter through, casting mesmerising patterns reminiscent of sunlight passing through petals. The ground level walkways will be paved with smooth, polished stone surfaces, creating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Consideration for visitor comfort and interaction with the environment is of utmost importance in our design. With this in mind, the circulation bridges will incorporate strategically placed lush greenery, further immersing shoppers in a botanical ambiance. These verdant displays evoke the sensation of strolling through a garden, encouraging relaxation and serenity within a bustling retail environment.

Aligned with a comprehensive sustainability approach, our design integrates environmentally-friendly features. Solar panels will be subtly integrated into the translucent surfaces of the overhead passages, harnessing renewable energy and reducing the mall’s carbon footprint. Furthermore, rainwater collection systems built discreetly within the structure will provide water for irrigating the luscious vegetation, exemplifying the project’s dedication to sustainability.
To enhance the ethereal atmosphere, thoughtful lighting design will be implemented throughout the refurbishment. Soft, warm illumination will emanate from discreetly placed fixtures, simulating the soft glow that saturates the petals of a flower at dusk. Dynamic lighting installations will create a symphony of colour, transitioning throughout the day to mimic the changing hues of a flower garden, mesmerising visitors with an ever-changing visual landscape.
