Bean Buro has designed an apartment located in Happy Valley, overlooking the race course, for a young couple and their newly born child. The concept for the space grew in the form of cocoons, adapted for each living area to become a sacred space.

Unicorn Stores (HK) Ltd. was established in 1985 to operate a chain of department stores and supermarkets from Japan in Hong Kong, with a mission to deliver “high-quality, sincere and courteous service of a department store from Japan to customers”.

We were entrusted with designing a new headquarters with an internal staircase spanning across three floors for Anglo-Eastern, one of the largest ship management companies in the world.
Hysan Bizhouse
The design brief was to transform a Tong Lau (a term for mid-20th century buildings in Hong Kong) of over five floors and a roof terrace, into twelve units of flexible live & work apartments that are comfortable, elegant and fresh.

We designed an elegant residence for a dynamic family with young children in Hong Kong. We desired to create a minimal and natural 'Instagram-able' home that reflects the parents' fashion blogging, trendy and healthy lifestyles.

Paediatric Clinic x Painter’s Studio
Bean Buro was appointed to design a private clinic specialised in paediatric orthopaedics and scoliosis in Hong Kong. The specialist doctor and owner wanted an atypical clinic that feels welcoming to children and parents, as well as encourage the patients to interact with the environment which would enable the doctor to observe the natural body movements.
Theatre House
Bean Buro was tasked with a full refurbishment of an apartment for a family of four – parents with a young child, an arriving second child, and their bulldog. The apartment faces a beautiful view of the Hong Kong skyline, nestled into the steep green hills of the Mid-Levels.
Sakura Tsuki Hotel
Nestled along the waterfront, the hotel boasts breathtaking views of the ocean on one side and the majestic mountains on the other. The design concept revolves around a floral and vegetation theme, with cherry blossoms being the central inspiration. To immerse guests in the beauty of nature, real cherry trees are planted in the exterior, while preserved cherry trees and flowers adorn the interior in stunning floral installations.
Yugen Zenith
Situated along the waterfront of Hong Kong, the Sakura Tsku Hotel serves as the ideal backdrop for our design. We were inspired by the external context of the hotel and sought to establish a strong connection between the restaurant and its surroundings. Our approach was to seamlessly blend the natural beauty of the waterfront with the interior space, creating a visual harmony that evokes a sense of tranquillity.
Skyline Savoy
We are thrilled to present our design concept for a luxury roof terrace lounge nestled on the rooftop of a hotel. Our vision for this captivating space draws inspiration from the wonders of nature, creating an enchanting oasis where guests can immerse themselves in the serene beauty that surrounds them.
Social House
Bean Buro designed the interior spaces of Ori - a new residential development located in Tuen Mun. The design includes the entrance lobbies, apartment rollouts to two high rise towers, and the feature clubhouse named the 'Social House', which contains a gym, common area, library, piano room and children's play area.

Bean Buro was tasked to design a new workplace for the Asia office of Charterhouse - one of UK’s leading independent boarding schools since 1611.
Warner Music Beijing
Bean Buro was tasked with designing a workplace in Beijing, China for Warner Music. The new workplace would be a complete transformation of the previous traditional office into a dynamic space in the central hub of the city.
Williams Lea Tag
Placed at the heart of the dynamic Wanchai district is Bean Buro’s design for marketing brand Williams Lea Tag’s new workplace in Hong Kong. Drawing reference from the district's urban typologies and symbol, the proposal reinterprets characteristic framing and layering devices, generating a work environment that feels as raw, diverse, and multifaceted as its context.
